I don't know any specific makers, but I've seen the same or very similar patter from more than a few people. Just cruise around for awhile. They are not always called "backpocket" knives. IMHO, the bose back pocket is a copy of an older pattern, the remington bullet single blade trapper. From what I've been told, the handle design was made popular with the remington lock back hunter, the handle was used again by remington on a two blade trapper, and the single blade trapper is what has evolved to now. Same design, just older name. Many custom makers make this type of knife, it just won't be called a "backpocket" I have an old Don Hanson version from about 15 years ago. Of course, the bose version is stainless and the traditional versions (and many customs), are brass liners and a nickel silver bloster. The same handle shape, two pins and the thong hole make it a remington bullet, the blade shape can change, but not too often. I believe the bose version has three pins instead of the traditionall two.
