Questions on "delica"

I just ordered a "delica" a few days ago and this is the first knife I've ever bought from spyderco(their website).

My first question(if anybody is so kind as to answer me)is how long will it take to get shipped to me in Singapore?

My second question compares the "delica" to the "native". The native has this finger choil that is part of the blade while the delica does not. If I want to open my knife under stress in a hurry, will this mean that it will be easier to get a good grip on the delica rather than the native?

Is the delica regarded as a more workable "tactical" knife while the native as a more "utilitarian" one? If so, what are the features that incline each knife towards those categories?

I have read the reviews on both knives in these forums but I don't feel that they answer my questions.

Thanks in advance for the replies(if any) to my questions.

The Delica is a great knife.I use mine as a money clip.It can be used for self defense.There are even training systems designed around this particular knife.Another plus is that it can be carried on most airlines.It will turn into your most "Used" blade.

I have and like both. I consider the Native a little more "tactical" than the Delica in overall design.

For me, it just comes down to which knife fits my hand better. I like the blade shape of the Native better, but the Delica's handle just "feels" right in my hand. I have to agree with Mickey on another point. The Delica has in my opinion a more "useful" blade shape. I have carried both at work and I find the Delica is more versatile. The Native does seem to be more tactically oriented though. But as some other folks have mentioned in the forums in the past, if the knife doesn't fit your hand properly, you probably won't carry and use it that much. As far as opening under stress, when I do my fast-opening drills at home, I find the hump in the Delica's blade lets me get it open and into use quicker than the Native. My thumb just seems to find the hole that much quicker. Hope this helps some.

If you have large hands like mine, you'll appreciate the slightly larger Endura. My buddy has both Endura and Delica. The stainless steel version is a good buy but be very wary when you pocket it with other stuff that might scratch. (;

Gentlemen, thanks for your replies.

I hope I get the same satisfaction from my new knife as you have had from yours.
