I'm looking at a bunch of different knives and can not figure out what the difference is. I looked at some Rat-3 and the all look pretty much the same to me. Some are marked RC-3pmb, Rc-3p-DT, Rc-3p-MB-DT. Same for the Rat 4s. I see RC-4p-DT, Rc-4PMB-DT. Can someone explain the difference to me? I found a heck of a deal at a dealer and dont know the difference.

First of all none of RAT Cutlery's knives are called "RAT"

If you are looking for a knife with that name then you need to buy from Ontario Knife Company.

RC-3P-MB (RC-3 knife, plain edge with MOLLE back)
RC-3P-MB-DT (same as above except desert tan blade color)

If it doesn't have an MB on it then it come with MOLLE Locks and not the MOLLE back.

Thanks. I will look closer at the dealer to try to see if they are Ontario made or Rowens made.

Ok I sent the dealer a message to confirm but I do beleive these are non-ontario made knives. Blades stamped RC-3 and not RAT-3.

There is no RAT Cutlery amde knife named RAT and never will be a RAT Cutlery made knfie named RAT. Remember that and there will never be any confusion. ;)

Rowen is marked on all RC Knives. Has been from the very beginning. Not only does this set us apart from Ontario, we are just damn proud of having Rowen as our manufacturer and the quality that they build.

Idaho Falls. No tours offered due to the time it takes away from production. Sorry about that.
