Hi,
I am quite a newbe in the knife matter, and I beg you pardon for my poor english.

I recently bought a knife from a prestigious brand CONAZ Consigli, an historical brand, from Scarperia (Italia).
I am attacching a photo in which you can see a quite evident fracture in the upper side of the blade tang...

I sent back to the manifacturer, but they sent me back the knife having done nothing to fit this problem.
Would you consider just an estetic issue or could it be considered a real problem to the blade?

Not a fracture. Many folding knives have a tang that looks similar to that picture. Don't worry about it.

Also agree. The tangs of many traditional folding knives are pretty coarse-looking, and finished only for functionality (proper fit, tight & straight lockup, minimal play, etc) and not for appearance. Chances are, if that surface imperfection were ground away for better appearance, the blade would no longer fit to the spring properly, leaving too much play/gap between the two. If it were fractured, the fracture would likely be seen also propagating along the spine of the blade ('splitting' the blade like wood, if it were actually cracked that severely). I'm not seeing that in the picture, so I doubt it's an issue.
