Questions regarding carbon fiber Delica. . .

I have a SS handle Spyder-Edge Delica and a FRN handle plain-edge Delica and I've noticed that the blade on the SS handle Delica is thinner toward the tip and more pointy than the blade of the FRN Delica. It's also a little shorter.
I really like the strength of the SS handle, but find the FRN handle to be a bit flimsy. If I put alot of lateral pressure on the blade, the handle flexes and the blade almost disengages from the locking bar. The SS handle is rock solid.
So now I'm considering the carbon fiber version as a compromise between the strength of the SS handle and the grip of the FRN handle and I have a question:

Does the CF Delica have the slightly shorter and thinner blade like the SS Delica or is it exactly like the FRN? (I've noticed that handles of the CF and SS are shaped exactly the same and are different from the FRN handle, so are the blade dimensions the same too?). I prefer the thinner, more pointy blade of my SS Delica, so I'm just trying to make sure before I buy. Any info would be appreciated.

The CF has a VG-10 blade. If any of your current Delicas features VG-10 as well, it's likely that the blades are exactly the same. I can also tell you that the CF is very stiff, so that the single-liner configuration still makes for a very solid-feeling knife, that shows absolutely no play in any direction, open or closed.

I very much like my Delica, plus the fact that the CF is glossy. Do bear this in mind however since it's not to everyone's taste.

Blade on the CF Delica is the same as the one on the newer FRN models, 3" length, VG-10, and a partial flat grind. Grip on the other hand is closer to that of the stainless one, smooth an slick. What the CF model offers is a slim, elegant looking knife with strength close to that of the stainless version and weight close to that of the FRN.

I think that you have a hollow grind blade on the SS Delica (all AUS-6 Delica blades are hollow grinded) and a flat grind on the FRN one (probably VG-10 steel, the ATS-55 still were hollow grinded), that's why the SS's blade seems thinner.
The CF seems pretty solid to me, as it has that steel liner. Didn't put any lateral pressure to see how it performs (in fact, my CF Delica has never been used). :D
The blade is the same size as the SS model (thus the shorter one), but it is flat grind, so I guess it'll have that thick look near the tip. But I dare to think you'll like the CF Delica, despite this aspect.
