Questions regarding new knife purchases...

So I recently acquired a few knives and have some questions about them as well as some comments.

First off I got a Crkt Apache full size half serrated. The liner lock when snapped open quickly engages in a way so it is almost impossible to disengage, is this common with this knife? And the blade is ground really high on one side and almost looks chisel grind do to lack of and grind on the other side, is this also normal?

Now my biggest questions. I bought a benchmade 913d2 and to say the least I'm confused benchmade would label this as a benchmade. It was dull, had crazy blade play (made my songs look perfect) and the liner lock disengages slightly and moves the blade out of locked position when I grab it in a normal fashion. The liner lock almost disengages itself because it seems lick it doesn't actually touch the blade it's strange. Now are all of these normal with this knife?

That being said I was really impressed by my new Gerber ez out straight edge in ats-34, one of the older models but brand new and talk about sharp! I had the new half serrated version of this with bad steel so I had to get this and love it.

I also bought a Junglee foreign legion, and tri point. I like the solid feel of the foreign legion and love the sharp aus-10 of the tri point.

Sorry for the way it is written I wrote from my iPad quickly while cooking haha
All comments are helpful and welcome, thanks in advance!

Can't respond to the other things but I have had a couple CRKTs and what you are experiencing with the liner lock has happened to me. I bought one years ago and it was much higher quality. Now it has gone way down hill. One time
I snapped open my knife the only way I could move the liner lock was with a flat head screw driver. It was ridiculous.

Thanks for the reply, it's weird though I have 15 crkts and love them all and have no issues. Did you fix the issue or just minimize how much you use it?

Does anybody know if benchmade will cover the blade play and liner lock issue? I'm just trying to find out if the knife is going to just be a loss because as of now I can not use it :(...I just can't believe that my 20 dollar kershaw feels like a whole level above compared to my benchmade that cost over 7 times that.

These seem like pretty bad problems that I would not tolerate in knives. I would contact the respective companies and see what can be done to satisfy you.
