So I recently acquired a few knives and have some questions about them as well as some comments.
First off I got a Crkt Apache full size half serrated. The liner lock when snapped open quickly engages in a way so it is almost impossible to disengage, is this common with this knife? And the blade is ground really high on one side and almost looks chisel grind do to lack of and grind on the other side, is this also normal?
Now my biggest questions. I bought a benchmade 913d2 and to say the least I'm confused benchmade would label this as a benchmade. It was dull, had crazy blade play (made my songs look perfect) and the liner lock disengages slightly and moves the blade out of locked position when I grab it in a normal fashion. The liner lock almost disengages itself because it seems lick it doesn't actually touch the blade it's strange. Now are all of these normal with this knife?
That being said I was really impressed by my new Gerber ez out straight edge in ats-34, one of the older models but brand new and talk about sharp! I had the new half serrated version of this with bad steel so I had to get this and love it.
I also bought a Junglee foreign legion, and tri point. I like the solid feel of the foreign legion and love the sharp aus-10 of the tri point.
Sorry for the way it is written I wrote from my iPad quickly while cooking haha
All comments are helpful and welcome, thanks in advance!
