Parker - Frost, El Diablo, surgical, Japan. Scrimshaw dagger shape with brass guards. I enjoy this knife; not for heavy anything.

Puma, 970 Game-Warden, handmade, Germany. Have owned this EDC for many years, has not been sharpened yet.

Anything you can learn me about these would be welcome. Both are lock back.

Thanks

Any in-put? Is the Game-Warden a higher quality knife then the Buck 110?

Anyone else produce a type/style like the El Diablo?

I've not seen very many folding daggers. I believe A. G. Russell makes/made one in a titanium frame lock, but that's in no way contemporary to the Frost/Parker. Probably the closest modern interpretation would be Cold Steel's Ti-Lite series. I think Al Mar's early SERE folders had the flared bolsters, similar to the El Diablo.

In my experience, most of Puma's 70s-80s stuff was a bit higher quality than the Bucks of the same time frame. Post some pics, if you can.
