I have a few questions for the Camillus answer man. Tom I have a few knives in my collection that I want to know if Camillus made and if so when ?
The first one is marked E and L Syracuse N.Y.
The second is marked Syracuse Knife Co.
The third is marked Kaylan.
Also when did Camillus stop making Silver Sword knives ?

Jocko-Happy New Year.
Camillus made knives with the"Syracuse Knife Co." brand during the 1930's. I found no information on the "E and L" and "Kaylan" brands in our records. Bernard Levine's Guide and John Goins book both listed "Kaylan" as a brand, but without any additional information.
The "Silver Sword" line of knives was introduced during the early 1980's. We still manufacture two models of Silver Sword knives which are the #862 and #864.
