2 questions:

I have a Randall model 14 in stainless which I bought new about 5 years ago. I would like to know if this is a stock-removal blade or a forged blade ?

Also, the blade has scratches on it from careless sharpening. Is there a way to remove them ?

It's forged. You can send it to the shop and have it "cleaned" (reground) or you can hand sand it with 200=>400=>600 grit sandpaper. Or.......you can actually use it now
