I decided to try and fix myself a portable yet easily stored light box and came up with this idea.It works pretty well you just have to position the knife not to get a funny shadow line sometimes.
This was really inexpensive to make.First I went to the local WalMart and found some tshirt material on there discount rack it was a dollar a yard and so I bought 2 yards. Then I took a old tv tray,The kind you could take the whole top off or snap it back on.Then I just took some string and tied it in three spots on the one side, then again on the other side. This keeps it from folding out all the way.Now you just lift the material up on one side to get access to take the picture.I have found that if you are in direct sunlight (outside) you may want to add another cloak over the top of the whole set up as it may be to bright.I like to do this in the shade of a tree as it gives softer light that way.I took these pictures in the house just as the sun was starting to come in through the window. This is with my inexpensive Polaroid camera and no tripod. If I could get a better camera and a tripod they would be even beter as I have no way of controlling the focus with this camera. But it works
It took all of about 10 minutes to make this set up and the cool thing is that it folds up and sets neatly in a out of the way corner untill needed again, and can be carried anywhere you want to use it with ease.
Just thought I would share this and see what you guys thought.
