We camp at a nearby water management district preserve. Camping is free, by reservation only and is often not very crowded. This was our second Thanksgiving out there. I received my BK 62 a few days earlier, so I was excited to bring it along. I only used it for a bit of food prep and some whittling, but I have to say it is a very capable and useful tool. i look forward to more trips into the woods with it.

Great pictures and extremely cool setting for Thanksgiving ... can't get much better ... thanks for sharing!

Another thing to be thankful for.... Great pics and a joy to see folks having a grand good time together....Glad you are enjoying the weekend with a couple of Beckers...... Where are you located... The weather looks to be just fine..... Thanks again for sharing .... I really appreciate it... e

A great time was had by all. We currently live 3/4 of the way down the west coast of Florida. The weather was perfect with night time temperature 55-60 and daytime 70-80. The bugs werent too bad.
The dumb questions I was going to ask were..."Where's the snow and why's everyone in short-sleeve shirts?" Guess this answered my questions. We tend not to have Thanksgiving outside on the IA-MN border. Christmas is really out of the question...all the drinks freeze...except the high alcohol content drinks...

At least it kills the bugs...

Think it's one of the better thoughts for a good setting to share a holiday like Thanksgiving ... I would love a place like that ... but as mentioned of course up here we just had 15 plus inches of snow ... hard to talk most the people into an outdoor feast this time of year.
But very cool idea!
