just wanted to post a few pics. i will have more posts tomorrow.
went on a short hike (5 miles) which is a lot through the powder and snow of the ontario north i suppose.
made a fire, had a hot chocolate, saw a fat little porcupine. just a few pics.
this is an AMAZING mark wohlwend necker. i carry it in rotation with a few other neckers (all of which i carry as pocket-carry, not neck-carry) and all of which have a ferro-rod attachement.
i left witrh zero tinder or firestarters other than the fire-rods and knife. but always bring some hot chocolate with me and want to test my firemaking skills as much as possible...
keep posted, i also have a thread coming tomorrow about fall/winter hunts and cleaning of the critters (grouse to moose.)
ps i largely cleaned and skinned the moose with mark's necker!
pss to mark. i will respond to your email. unforunetly i do not own a computer any longer, so this is my first time on here in some months. my sincerest apologies, it is a wonderful knife.
the "rust" colored stuff is just dust and particals from shaving and rubbing down bark. it is not rust! i promise
i keep NO safe queens. this is all from firestarting.
if anyone is interested, this is a great GPS and i would be happy to do a revue
It looks cleaner than it really is haha it's been through the sh*t. though mostly seen from my pocket
