quick cybertool question

are the bits on this thing demagnetized?? just wanted to be sure before using it on the pc. thanks

I just checked and they won't stick to steel.

A bit set that I have in my desk has a magnet _inside_ the hex driver, to hold the steel bits, which I think is typical.

However, the CYBtool uses a small ball in the bits to mechanically hold them in.
===> no magnetic fields of significant magnitude surround the CYBtool
so you should be fine.. that is what it was designed for
;)

as for the magnetic property of screwdrivers, i don't think they can do real damage to the ic's and other pc stuff... i've been using a magnetic screwdriver for assemblies for serveral years already both at home, school (before when i was a student) and now (in my workplace)

nevertheless, its still better to have something with a non-magnetic tip. as for the cybertool, its not magnetic...
