Quick-draw sheaths?

Wonder if you guys can tell me this....
(search function has been yielding a blank white page for some time now...)
Who makes a decent-quality quick-draw sheath for a 110? I can't find JR Richardson's sheaths anywhere, and I'm hesitant to buy just any ol' one on fleaBay.
Anybody have one made by someone they can recommend? Or at least point me in a warmer direction?
Thanks,
Alex

I have two that I got on the Bay (they're the same). You can see a pic of it in one of the shots on the link below. It would be the top of the three in the pic. It is a great gizmo. Well, I did buy two. One after I was pleased with the first just in case I couldn't get another in the future after loss or wear.
So, if you see one like that in the auction pic or elsewhere...get it. Cost about $21 IIRC.
Though I like the system, I rarely wear it now that I have my Signature 298GY. That knife has never failed and I just used it five minutes ago on some salami and to cut up my SOS on toast earlier for breakfast. So, you can prob find a 298 series for less coin than a 110 and quick draw combined. Just an opinion.

BTW, I added the one rivet on the end so that my 111 Classic fits snugger if not in quick-release mode. 110 knives are thicker and don't have the tendency to slip out the end when inserted fully closed.

The two other horizontal sheaths (with the badge deco) are JB Wood and NOT Quick Draw McGraws'.

Yeah, I recall that too but can't find it. I would like to echo what you requested BM#10...and where they got it. Might get one just for grins.

Any idea what Gary's prices are? For a 110 horizontal like a few pics on the website?

Best thing to do is to contact him...I'm sure prices vary...I don't own one of his sheaths:( , have only seen them on BF and his site. Folks who have them say great things about the workmanship and appearance. Preston

Yes! Exactly! Is that one of the sheaths that opens your folder as you draw it? I'm looking for a decent-quality version. I've seen a couple floating around here & there (random sellers on ebay, etc.), but don't know how well-made they are, or rather who to buy from so that I get a good one.

I make that one. PM me if you want one. I have a few cut out and can finish one by the weekend.

Larry

I'm hoping to find a "quick draw" sheath--one that opens the 110 as you pull it out--that doesn't put any pressure on the blade's edge. I have a cheapo, and I've found that it will dull the edge very quickly because the sheath uses the edge as a pivot against a metal pin to open the knife. Do all these "quick draw" sheathes have this problem?
