Quick GAW

A small little GAW to start the new year. Porch or Buck forum regulars only please!

I had this project sitting on my bench for waaaay too long. Joe58 had sent me a couple 703 patterns, to swap out good guts in one to a brass frame with abused blades. I had trouble with it early on, and I've learned that if I'm not "feeling it", to just walk away and come back later. Apparently, I wasn't feeling it for quite some time. So much so, that when I finally got up the motivation to work on it again, Joe had forgotten he even had sent it. He decided that he didn't need it anymore, so left it to me to decide what to do with it.

So what better than to have a GAW! This knife is not new. The blades are full and don't appear to have any use on them, but the brass frame has some wear and dings. Nevertheless, it's solid, snaps, and will make a great user for someone. Here is the knife...

What a great opportunity for somebody to try out one of these uniquely Buck slipjoints, a very generous offer for sure.
The 700 series is like everything you think when you hear " Buck knife " but they're slipjoints, like a Buck 110 a stockman had a baby.
They are very uniquely Buck and anybody who even remotely likes Buck and traditional knives should try one.


I'm not in because I already have a 705 pony and an awesome 704 maverick so I don't need an introduction into the series, but somebody is going to be a real happy camper.
