This is an incomplete heads-up for our Investors, and anyone who has been watching our humble Hawk Project move along in the last two years;
We are almost done with all our back orders, which is great for everyone, of course. - If you guys are waiting on a hawk from us, I have about all the endoskeletons made, and we are going to knock them out en masse, with few exceptions. - The exceptions are going to be outstanding though, so it should be a win-win to remember, God Willing, and the following is why;
TOPS has sent us a bunch of FAST AXEs, modded to our specs - this is going to be a tomahawk gateway drug if there ever was one - part knife, part machete, part hawk, the heads are about 12.5 ounces (Cold Steel Trail Hawk heads average around 15 ounces, for comparison) and feature a solid steel neck in the strike zones, a low print when carried covertly, and a long-bellied edge worthy of everything from skinning game to chopping good stuff off of bad guys.
The new-version Fast Axes will also sport a version of our endo/exoskeletal composite handles, which I intend to really leverage the Fast Axe's physics with.
Mike Fuller, owner of TOPS Knives has been a saint and we hope this is the beginning of a relationship that we can perpetuate between our company and TOPS - pray we don't blow it. - I will pitch in more details on the FAST AXE project as we get going - it will probably be freatured in a few magazines shortly as well.
This note is short and hasty as I try to get this tidal wave of hawks out, as brother 762 Shooter will attest - he saw the workload last week when he was in town on business. - but no matter - we are going to have a bunch of IGHs ready soon, so contact my Erica via e-mail if you are not on the IGH list and want an early pick of the litters that are coming up around Monday 04 May 2009.
Our hope with the proceeds is to get the tax man off our back and possibly get a mill to start on the Sectionals.
The Gen 1 Mk 4 handles have been a big success so far - I would really like to get some Sectional Prototypes out to the Investors though ASAP, as well as some other developments like the ATAX handle, etc.
Anyways, amongst the IGHs (Instant Gratification Hawks) we have some MULTICAMS, some Black Mambas, and some Commanche styles arriving - five of these are Pure Fighters, in varying lengths - they are Cold Steel Trail Hawks that have had the poll shortened and hafted on our Gen 1 Mk 4 fiber-aligned composite handles - they are especially good in initial striking with the abbreviated poll side, and followed up with surgical kill shots with the bits - talk is cheap though, just wait and see. - they track like demons.
All the IGHs feature our Snakeskin finish which is structural as well as aesthetic for the hawk - we can furnish our 1000 Denier Cordura Skins on top of them if an Investor prefers that nice fabric feel, but i urge you to try the Snakeskins alone first - We will take care of you, no matter what.
Okay - 'just checking in, giving this crappy heads-up and heading back to the Hawk Dungeon.
My Erica is out at Girl Scout Camp and will be incommunicado until Monday 04 May 2009, but you can e-mail her to get position for first offers of the hawks - everything we present is covered with our Unconditional Happiness Guarantee, as always, so invest with confidence, brethren.

Thanks for your kind consideration.
Let's roll.
