Went for a hike across from my house, had to get some dirt time in, and test a couple new pieces of gear out. I would like to get a Maxpedition 10x4 bottle carrier one day, but until then I bought a Belgian gas mask bag which works pretty good. Might skip the Maxped all together. Also tried out a new 5x7 silnylon tarp, and cooking setup. Here's a few pics, comments welcome!

I've love to go, but I have to work next weekend! Please keep me in mind if you do anything in the future.

Nice pics! I wish i had more then desert near me.

Did you find the 5x7 tarp to be large enough for you and your gear underneath?

So jealous, all my favorite spots are still covered in feet of snow.
It sure looks nice out there in NY.

Thanks for the pics. :)

It was the first time out with the 5x7, looks like it would be kinda tight though. Like to keep my gear close......

I have a cabin in upstate New York, I do a lot of guiding and stuff up there. I'm always looking for people to get out in the woods with and work on my minimal camping and try some new stuff to teach my clients. If you ever would like a partner to get out and do some bushcraft or camping please let me know, I'd love to find some people who like to camp esp with minimal gear as its not a good choice for me to go with clients.
