I took an hour long hike today. It was buggy, hot and humid but bug spray and H2o did the trick!
I had my flower ID book and have matched up some of them but have to figure some of the others. My weakest skill is plant ID.
Sometimes natures beauty is where you least expect it. Take a walk with me if you like.
I need help with this one. Probably the coolest one today. Has it's own little water collectors at each level. (3 pictures)
Kifaru Scout. Best day-hike pack I've ever had! This is a second one I picked up.
It was about 90F with 85+% humidity. No sweaty back, transfers a lot of weight onto your hips (using the Omni-belt) and if adjusted correctly you have nearly zero weight on your shoulders. I forget I'm wearing it at times.
All from the underside of a very busy Interstate highway and Power-grid lines.
