from what i hear the new hurricane is supposed to hit TX and track north to my house in Idaho. I'll be gone for a while as i need to go to town and round up some supplies. Beer, wHiSkeY, chips, beef... maybe some pretzels and a candle.

I just hope taht the heeding of the warnings keeps the human losses down, and I hope that all the porkers and cheesers (new term for Rats) in that region are well on their way to safety.

Got all mine jammed in the ground around the foundation! That oughta weather a tornado! :D :p We thought there for a while that it was headed in our direction, now its looking like we may just get a little rain! :rolleyes:

I'm getting prepared for Rita to hook to the East and hit SC. What if I lose power! I better get to the liquor cabinet and start drinking my stock before it goes bad!! :eek: :D

i would also clear away all the brush and trees, from your yard AND your neighbors. you don't want any dead fall to impede emergency vehicles :thumbup:
 
good god skunk, don't forget the charcoal for the hibachi... or an extra propane cylinder for the weber....

you wouldn't want to be some kind of caveman... :eek:
 
Speaking of drinks. I prepare for a hurricane everyweekend by drinking up.

I have this concoction that you guys will have to try. It tastes great and sneaks up on you before you know it. Women love this drink.
