Thanks for the info! It is a nice heavy blade.It would make a fine skinner.It cleaned up well.Im thinking of pimping it with filework and abalone myself.
What you have is a C13 ProGrip without the inlay. The Hunter is similar but with a straight blade. The ProGrip has a belly shaped blade. Check this website as a reference for any Spydies that you may have trouble identifying.
What you have is an "Ironstone Hunter". It was sold exclusively by Ironstone, and combined the all stainless Hunter handle with the Pro-Venator/Pro-Grip style blade. It's a relatively uncommon model. Frame is not really the Delica one, it's the one shared by the Worker, Hunter, Standard, and Harpy.
If you go to Ted's Catalog Download page and D/L the Ironstone catalogs, am sure you'll find more info on it.
