You made a low ride clip for my JYD for tip down carry, I actually regret it as I would've much better liked it tip up, using the clip you already made me, is there some way I can do these adjustments at home or should I send the knife back on to you?
Thanks!

Well, tip up is possible no doubt. I have to be careful placing them tip up on the frame locks with lock cuts on the outside. Some, and on that model in particular for the frame lock are a pain to get right because that lock cut can snag the rim of your pocket being pinched by the clip and it causes the folder to be pulled out of your hand and even dropped if I don't position the clip away from the lock cut to allow for it to roll over smooth without getting hung up.

I'm not sure I'd be able to use the same clip but we could do something and since holes will need drilled and threaded into the knife I'd have to do it here.

I sell a lot of those JYD tip down clips so unless its just beat all up I'd be open to swapping you out for the clip. I'd want to see it to be sure though.

I highly recommend a tip up JYD clip from Steve here. I got one a while back and it turned a knife that I never really carry into one of my favorite weekend/after work knives. As he said though it is very tough to get everything lined up just right with the lockbar cutout so I would definately send it back to him as apposed to drilling and tapping yourself.
