BM 806: very nice knife, well balanced, axis lock is excellent, no blade-shake or movement when holding the blade tip. Beautifully centered in frame when closed.
I would expect a very good folder for tactical situation. Handle design gives a very long reach. 0.550" thick handle still feels very slim in Levis.
Blade-steel is excellent; razor-sharp from factory. Opens and closes very smoothly.
Only con I can find is that I may not carry this knife in EDC. My Spydie Para2 in 20CP is my regular EDC; a bit smaller and shorter blade for my light duty. I'm not hard on a knife. If my kid were going back to the Sand Box, I'd send this Benchmade AFCK folder along with him. I'll put this one back in the safe until I figure out what I want to do with this knife.
Benchmade 806-1101 AFCK (advanced folding combat knife)

This BM 755 MPR is a heavy-duty knife, M390 steel, razor-sharp with a very useable shorter blade of 2.9 inches. I think an excellent knife for light kitchen duty due to short blade and perhaps for whittling. At the same time, this is a bull-moose of a knife. Very good grippy G10. Really excels for any place where you want to wield power with a short blade. With the spine jimping, kick and choil design, you can get "way up" on this knife blade and have excellent control without endangering your fingers. You can use this knife with a lot of force...safely. Very impressive. I don't like the clip and it is rather inflexible and may be hard on pockets edges.
The thumb studs serve either hand, although I cannot open this blade in a conventional manner. I have to dig my thumbnail between the stud the the handle and then push to open the blade. Makes the blade-opening an "unsmooth" movement for me, although closing the blade is excellent. The closed blade is centered beautifully in the frame, and the blade is rock solid when open.
Benchmade 755 MPR (mini pocket rocket)
Blade Length: 2.90"
Blade Thickness: 0.164"
Handle Thickness: 0.610"
