What color matches the tan micarta scales? need to know before i buy some.

We truly are a color coordinating bunch of people around here. :D

Just make sure you baton with the right colored baton when you do. Just sayin...

Im a little nitpicky about things like that, and considering its going on an izzy 2 i doubt the baton color will be an issue. :P But seriously, tan, coyote brown, what?

Whatever suits your fancy since you be the one color coordinating this ;) I say go with pink cord on the tan izula.

black izzy, micarta handle actually. So what color matches the handles?

The handles are lighter than you'd think. If you want to match, go with a lighter tan.

I can see we're gonna have to hire a fashion coordinator for this forum to answer such questions :D

Just think about how much coordinating there will be when you guys have 600 SKUs on the books.

What does the fashion coordinator job pay? If the only colors are black, tan, green and the occasional orange, I’m in. :D

Here you go, assuming the Izula scales are the same shade as the Izula II scales. Sorry the lighting's messed up, but this should give you an idea.

Yes. It's close, but a slightly different shade. IMO you're better off choosing a contrasting color, but that's just me.

The handles also will get darker the more you use them, soaking up stuff from your hands

This is true. Better get some Greasy Brown Paracord too. With all this color coordination, I'm wondering if this thing will get used at all. :p

Not sure why you "need" it to match. I feel that it's your knife, use what you want. If your carrying in the woods, orange would be a good choice. Urban carry, something a bit "quieter" like black or brown. Layards can be fun and functional.

I'd be matching the blade's color not the scales. Try to get some contrast between the three in a way that it doesn't turn into an eye sore.

By process of elimination, I'd say DT cord is out, so is black, pink, white, gray and orange. I'd say go with a Coyote lanyard. It's not going to show dirt so much, yet blend in nicely if it does. I'd consider OD as well.

If any of yall know any cute gay guys that would like to serve time here as ESEE's color coordinator, please let me know :D
