i like the tapering near the spine, almost like a second fuller? but not quite becoming thick again. or at least that's how i'm seeing it. the handle is a beauty too. le drool

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Munk, I just sanded the handle smooth before doing the Tru Oil finish. The handle on this thing is almost as big as the handle on my 25" AK. I asked Uncle Bill specifically to pick me out a big knife with a big handle because of the size of my mitts.

Your Ak does have a nice taper from thick to thinner towards the prommel.

Looks very comfortable in the hand.
