Quick pic custom review

its much easier for me to take pics, upload and post them on my phone then type out a long review with the phone so this is just a quick little picture review of sorts on a knife i bought here on the custom exchange that i could not be happier with! I was testing it for edge retention and comfort for my personal use and it passed with flying colors

Soft 2.25" square pine

Shaves hair after soft pine

Hard oak

1.75"x.75 Hard oak cut in two (notice no grain tear out. All clean cuts)

Still shaves hair and cuts paper

10 passes on the strop and easily makes a bald spot with two passes on my hairy arm

Fantastic. Thanks for posting this. After commenting in General and checking out the sale thread I was curious about how the steel would hold up. I'm really glad I happened across this.

Thanks Cory, the fact that this is mystery steel is what prompted me to test it for edge retention in a short controlled period

I would love to get one of his 52100 forged blades as a comparison for edge retention to this one
