Take your pick. If you could have any one knife folder, fixed, auto or other, made anyway you wanted as long as it fit into the general category of Persian or hawkbill, which would it be? Double edged not permitted, but a swedge would be allowed.
If you care to explain why, please do so. I'd pick the Persian! I think it's more useful in more situations for me. They're awesome slicers and as a SD knife I think it would be more useful to me.

"Persian" design - is to me more usefull for more of the things I do. (slicing, cutting, Zombie killing, and some chopping) I have not quite figured out the Hawkbill. Of course I am not often cutting ropes nor am I on a sailing vessell circa 1865 ........

And it looks sweet! (now there is a reason for getting a new blade!)

Of course a LED Ninja Death Sword - is pretty darn cool too - Got my last one with neat-o dragon head at a gun show - next to the Beanie Babies .......

Neither, we want the production ASH1s!!!

Hawkbill. My HB collection has been growing significantly, and I carry an auto HB fairly frequently. Box opening, cable cutting, etc. is much easier for me with a HB.

And in the zombie-killing scenario it would be much easier to decapitate with a hawkbill.

Can't wait for my Sus Scrofa...

As much as I love Wharnies and Hawkbills for smaller knives... I would have to pick the persian for medium to large knives. The belly from the sweep has more utility in chopping and skinning.

The hawkbills and wharnies are more tip oriented specialist that are good rippers and slashers. In most cases the tip is the primary starter of the cut.
