Quick question about a Katz

I've got a Katz folding knife that's about 8 1/2" long, black kraton scales, stainless bolsters, brass liners, and fully serrated. I do not have the box, papers, or sheath (I think they come with one, I never got it). The blade says "XT-80 (over) stainless steel (over) Made in Japan". On the other side, it says "Katz (next to) Chandler , AZ. (over) U.S.A." By the way, it's a lock back and has a nail nick cut into the blade as well as a plastic thumb assisting opener screwed down on the top of the blade. I'd like to know if it has a model name or number as well as the value. It has only seen very light use and the serrations are still plenty sharp.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

You might find a pic here:

Look on page 2 (you have to click on "page 1 and 2", and then hit "next page".
Looks like yours is the Cheetah K900DP/S.

Steve,
Sorry, I have missed you question yesterday.
Your knife probably is K-900DP/S Cheetah. Plain-edged version is available with both drop- and clip point blades. Scaled down version with 3" blade is available in the same configurations. Both large and small Cheetahs (mom and cub?

) are available also with cherrywood and ivory micarta scales.
More info you can find at www.katzknives.com

I have no personal experience with Cheetah series knives but maybe my review on Special Forces knife could be interesting for you.
