Quick Question about JRE Sheath

I just bought a JRE bushcraft sheath for my Mora and I realized that the fireloop is made for the "army" model while I only have the scout. Will my scout model fit in the loop? I would hate to have to drop another 15 bucks on something I already have.

It'll be very loose. I have the Scout model and a JRE sheath with FS loop, and it's not a good fit -- it would be prone to fall out.

This may or may not help. My first thought is get a small piece of material - leather or something and secure it inside the firesteel loop. That may create a snug enough fit for your scout sized steel. Maybe a ring/loop of leather would friction fit so no gluing necessary.

Thanks for the help. I decided to just get the oak model off of amazon. Looking forward to the new sheath!
