Quick question about stabilizing 2 woods.

Does Gaboon ebony and olivewood need to be stabilized. If so will wood hardener from min wax do the job or will is take something else??

I'd say if it's good and cured when you get it, you probably wouldn't have to stabelize it. But if it's green, you're better off stabelizing it. I've just done some olive wood using pentacryl. It was green as a gord when I got it and I didn't want to wait months for it to dry. Pentacryl is supposed to reduce the drying time for green wood by as much as 90%. It will also keep the wood from checkin on ya while it dries. There's my 2cents. Hope it helps.
