I bought an SJ75 a while ago from a fellow forum member here. I love the knife. Anyone who says Striders FnF is sub par hasn't seen on of these little beauties. But I am unsure about what blade steel the knife is made from. The Strider logo and Name are the only markings printed on the blade. It has a stonewashed finish and black G10. I think all the stonewashed blades are CPM154 and the DLC or Tiger Stripe blades are S35vn, correct? Or were some SJ75s made with s35vn and given a stonewashed finish as well? I can upload pics if need be. Any ideas?

I believe even the stonewashed blades are s35vn.
I was looking into one with the stonewashed blade and it was s35vn.
I know they all started production as s35vn.

Strider def did make the SJ75 with stonewashed blade in S35VN.

If it doesn't have CPM154 etched on the blade then it is almost def S35VN blade steel.

I love the SJ and have kicked around adding one to my collection.

But I have seen a bunch of lock up issues with the knife so that worries me the most.

Moxy does yours have any issues, especially with the lock face or any lock rock???

Thanks!

It does get a little lock rock sometimes, but it's never been really stuck. If I wack it open hard it doesn't get any. If I glide it open slow it gets a little, sometimes, it comes and goes. In fact I'm playing with it now and it doesn't have any. Lockup is about 50% and hasn't moved at all. I've had knives that were much worse. Keeping the lockface clean and dry helps alot.
