Quick question on 110

The double dash stamp was a early in 92 year mark. Sometime like February or March the left hand dash was added. There is much posted about this in this Forum if you utilize the search feature. DM

Thanks for the response, didnt know what to put in search and I didnt see the double slash in the id codes.

Thanks DM, i must be getting slow didnt think to put double dash till later. Thought of double hyphen, two dashes, one dash on each side, but somehow double dash eluded me. Decided against purchasing if that was the only year the " double dash " was made, the tip is broken off and i would doubt Buck could find a spare. Thanks for the help.

Your welcome. For All the year date code stamps that's the only year they were made. As each blade for each year has a different stamp. Buck could replace the damaged blade for a new blade of 420. DM

There was a article written in the June 2006 Buck Collectors Newsletter on the double dash 110 blades. DM

It's a weakness of internet forums in general, and not the OP, that you need to know the appropriate lingo to search on to get results, but you may not know the appropriate lingo to describe what you want to search for.
