I'm thining my collection of 35 HI khuks. Would I sell them under the "production knives" or "custom knives" forsale forums? Thank you!

they ARE hand-made, with human powered tools (except i think they bought a hand grinder recently to do fullers with & they use handmade buffer wheels), but as more than one of each model is normally made, and /or usually more than one person is involved in making it, they are classed as production. but human production, not laser cut machined mass market stuff.

unfortunately the for sale forums here do not have enough sub categories for individual sales to prevent having to put a handmade peg into a iso (or ansi) standard hole.

Hmmm...

I came *this* close to deleting this one...let's not slip into spam here guys. No advertising of sales in these forums, right? Same goes for fishing trips.

I left it because there is a valid question contained and I agree...although HI does "production" runs of blades, they are indeed custom, hand made one at a time, fully human worked knives. Heck, even the heat treat is one-off and hand poured.

I was a little worried about asking this here. If it is in violation by all means delete my thread. I did not mean in any way to advertise here. Thanks for not getting mad at me!;)

No delete...since you are a gold member I moved it here for you.

I *still* say that HI khukuris shold be considered customs, but since they do limited hand made runs of certains models...chose the production forum for it.
