Quick Question on the SOG Tomcat 3.0

So I was thinking about purchasing the carbon fiber version of the Tomcat 3 with VG-10 steel, until I came into information that a carbon fiber version of the Tomcat 3 exists with VG-10 San Mai steel. However, I haven't been able to find this blade in any sites except for ebay really.

From my understanding, there is a carbon fiber version of the Tomcat 3 with VG-10 steel that is limited to 1000 pieces and then there is a carbon fiber version of the Tomcat 3 with VG-10 San Mai steel that is serialized and limited to 300 pieces. Am I right or just confused? Thanks for any help from you SOG experts.
 
Actually all the Tomcat 3 knives with carbon fiber handles are the VG-10 san mai and they are limited to 300. The normal Tomcat 3 is just plain old VG-10.
 
How come does the official sog website state that the tomcat 3 carbon fiber is made of VG-10 steel? They clearly state that the Arcitech is VG-10 san mai...but not the tomcat 3 carbon fiber? I'm guessing it was just a mistake.
 
Also, are all Tomcat III Carbon Fiber serial numberized and what pouch do they come with, the regular large nylon or the MOLLE compatable? Thanks.
 
They come in the regular nylon pouch and they have been numbered. I think we may continue production of the knife but they will not be serialized.
