which to me is good. dont want higher prices for a fancy box which is basically packaging aka trash. The AD20 models come in the flimsiest, cheapest box ever created. Those things make the cardboard Hinderer boxes feel like they're a luxury item.
AKA the Strider ziplock baggiewhich to me is good. dont want higher prices for a fancy box which is basically packaging aka trash.

Try selling a knife without the box & people expect 50% off. That's been my experience anyway.I could care less about the packaging...
I mean it's nice when a maker offers a nice zipper case as some do, or a decorative box...but that just gets put away until and unless the knife is sold on.
What makes Demkos special isn't packaging. (Just my opinion. No more valuable than anyone else's.)
It would be great if Demko (or all knife companies for that matter) would just throw the knife in a shipping box and charge less.Try selling a knife without the box & people expect 50% off. That's been my experience anyway.
I can't remember what my hand scribed CW came with, but I'm sure I still have it amid a mountain of other stuff.I have an early hand scribed CW and I got a zippered case with it.
My son bought a 3v laser etch and it came in a box.
