I got a modified version of this knife off the exchange recently and had a question about the grind. Can anyone enlighten me as to what type of grind comes stock from the factory on this knife?

It appears that this modified version is a mirror polished convex grind, and on one side, there is a microbevel.

Just wanting to know if the knife i got has a factory grind on it or if the grind is modified aswell

Thanks for your time

The BK11 is made by Becker and is a Becker design. Maybe you are thinking of the BK14, which has an ESEE Izula handle and BK11 blade? It is the ESEE/BK collab.

The BK14 is flat ground with a micro bevel. It is coated black, and is not in any way polished under the coating. (Has grind marks.)

I hope this helps. Please post pictures for a better answer...

i was mistaken, it is definitely the bk14.
All the black coating has been stripped off, the edge that is left is full flat, into a mirrow polished edge that is convex with one side with a microbevel

It has a one-sided micro bevel? I don't understand.

It sounds pretty normal if it has a FFG main bevel and a convex cutting edge. The mirror polish is obviously from sharpening.
