Hi there guys

I'm seriously considering getting my hands on a BK2 for pimpage, and whilst browsing one of my local forums I noticed a mate asking what size holes are in the tang as he wants to replace the screws with pins, but he doesn't have a set of verniers.

Anyone able to help me out?

Also while we are here, probably doesn't hurt to throw up some mod ideas for myself.

Cheers

I had just read in one of the recent handle mod threads the size of the holes. It's too mate for me to find it (I did try), but with some searching through the recent posts, you should be able to find the numbers you need.

As for handle mods, what don't you like about them? If they are too slick for you, plenty of folks have done stippling. Others like some bike tube for grip. It is a question of color, micarta can be dyed. Liners can be added for color and thickness. You can stuff things into the scales for a little PSK. Heck, the only think you can't do with these handles is sharpen them...

...I'll be expecting someone to prove me wrong on that soon enough.

hey dude I think you are refering to me on the question of holes sizes. I already did the handle mod and what I saw the screw hole in the tang are 4,6mm wide

for my bk2 i used loveless bolts of 1/4 ( that is the head size) the screw fitted perfectly in the screw holes in the tang

regarding the hole in the lanyard the size is 5/16¨

regards

pd check out my thread on the handle mods if you need more references. also in my case I used in the lanyard a 1/4 tube
