Quick question regarding the Delica

Hey all,
I was just wondering what the plain edge portion of the partially serrated Delica is like? Is it chisel ground or double ground? I have only handled the fully serrated and the plain edge. The reason I ask is because some knifemakers will just use a chisel grind and serrate the back half of the blade while others go the distance and grind the plain edge portion like a normal plain edge. I was just curious.

Thanks,
Kevin

My partially serrated Delica's plain edge is double ground.

Cheers!

I have an older Delica (AUS-8A steel with a plastic clip) that has a chisel grind on the secondary bevel where the serrations are. The only knife that I have ever seen with a dual grind on the serrated part was the Smith &Wesson rescue folder. It really doesn't matter to me though. :)
