Quick question regarding the SRK (SK5 version)

So I recently watched a YouTube review of the SRK-C compact version and saw that it has a flat saber grind and not a hollow grind. Are the standard size SRK models in SK5 steel coming with a flat saber grind as well now? Or is this exclusive to the compact model?

I looked directly at Cold Steel’s website and it’s kind of difficult to tell if it still has a hollow grind or not. In some pictures it looks hollow and in others it looks kind of flat

I had the SRK-C and if it was hollow ground, it was barely so. I think the full size SRK, even if hollow ground will not be aggressively so, like on a Buck.

Gideon's tactical says hollow ground:

So does Kevin Cleary:

Hi Silvanus. The standard model has a hollow grind as far as I know.

Thanks guys. Wasn’t sure if the grind was changed after the compact model came out. Looks like that’s not the case. I’ll probably still pick one up anyway as a backup to my new-to-me AUS-8 SRK

I do enjoy the SRK I own in SK5, but man is the coating thick. I plan to remove it soon.

And mine are a very shallow hollow ground as well.
Did you remove the coating? If so how well does the blade hold up to corrosion resistance?
