hello to everyone here :) one quick question.. so, I've recently purchased a sharp maker from a reseller here in the philippines and after using the sharp maker a few times i went on to wash the stones and i noticed that one of the ceramic stones was warped. when i placed it on a hard flat surface it was well how do you say it wobbly haha when i compared that particular stone to the others the other stones were rock solid stable. it looked to me the warped angled spine was rotating to the left. it looked like when you tried twisting a ruler. so my question is will this hinder my sharpening?

Are all sides warped or just one of the three? I am guessing by the twisting you are describing all are warped. I personally would not sharpen on that stone. What makes a good edge great is consistency, and what makes a good edge able to become great is the beginning process and apexing with a nice even bevel. Neither one of those will be easy to obtain with a warped stone. This is just from my experience and I am no expert, but have learned a few things along the way. It sucks, but I would use the other stone for both sides by putting it in one slot and spinning the whole base 180 degrees. You could also take the stone in and out from one side to the other, but I wouldn't due to wear and potential dropping of stone. In my experience with the SM you can do a few swipes on one side before switching. When you get to the end you do want to do very light passes and only do one on each side.

I agree with nccole.

I know that you are in the Philippines, but your Sharpmaker is covered under warranty and that certainly seems to me to be a manufacturing defect. No idea how you could have warped it yourself. ;) I'd call Spyderco and tell them about the issue. They may just send you a new stone. You can also buy a replacement stone for just around $13 (not counting shipping, which might be a big deal considering your location)

its like holding both ends of the ceramic stone and twisting it in the opposite direction the bend is slight but its there and you can see it with the naked eye
thank you sir for the information. :) and ill definitely try those tips. :)
