i have a sebenza 21 large Micarta inlay with plain stonewashed blade. Is there any way I can send that in to have the blade switched out with a ladder or basket weave Damascus? If so how long does that usually take and cost? Thanks in advance.
 
According to the service form, it's $285 for raindrop or ladder and they are backordered about a year out. The plus side is that you can reserve your blade, use your knife for the next year, and then send it in to get the blade fitted when they have it.

Thanks, forgot that part. If they contact you to tell you that it's ready and you have second thoughts, just let them know that you don't want it. They'll give it to the next person in line and you don't lose any money.
 
I might do that. I can't not have my SEBENZA gone for a year. I think $285 is worth it this is one sebenza that will stay with me for the rest of my life. This sebenza shares the same birthday as me.

Also do I get to keep the original blade? Just incase I want to swap it out?
