Hi guys, quick question.

I have an Esee 3 incoming which is going to have a tough weekend. Its going to have to be maintained with whats at hand for now which is:

-Lithium auto grease
-WD40
-3 in 1 oil
-sillicone oil spray
-Brasso metal polish

Which do you think would be best for rust prevention?

Will get tuff cloth soon as I hear this would be best.

Thanks in advance for any help

Rich

Unless your ESEE-3 has been stripped, rust is of little concern.

The coating protects all but the exposed edge and laser engraving. Also watch the nut-n-bots and for moisture under the scales.

3-In-One oil and WD40 work well.

Brasso is not needed.

So many get anal about rust. It's a thick slab of coated steel. It would take years (if not decades) of neglect before rust could damage such a knife. Just wipe it dry before putting it away and it'll be fine. ;)
