I used to have a buck fixed blade I'd like to know more about. It had a green rubberized handle and the blade was very similar to their survival knife (saw backed blade with serrations on the clip). The blade was probably around 6 inches long. If anyone has any information I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

Brandon

Thanks guys, thats the knife I was wondering about. Man I wish I wouldn't have let that one go.

Search ebay for Buck nighthawk or Buck 650 Usually some there.

Some have the OD handle also.

buck 639 and i have found the buck field mate version with out the saw/serration on ebay earlier this week, around $25-30 with a day or so to go...

The typical Fieldmate variations include:
639BK with Black Kraton Handle
639OD with Olive Drab Kraton Handle
639OR with Blaze Orange Kraton Handle (samples only)
639GY with Gray Kraton Handle (samples only)
639NB with Black Kraton handle and no saw teeth
639B1 with phenolic handle and aluminum fittings like a 119, with saw and sand blasted all over (some Buck Custom with S/N and some not with 1993 tang stamp only)
639B2 with phenolic handle and aluminum fittings like a 119 but no saw and sand blasted all over (script tang stamp)(315 made S/N xxx/315))

EEE - are you sure you just need the black one?

JASheil - I see you are new to the forum. Posting on an old thread such as this one from 2007 is a bit frowned upon and secondly you are not allowed to ask value unless you are a paying gold member or higher.

You may want to read up on the forum rules.

JASheil,

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately for you, forum rules don't allow discussion of prices unless you have at least a Gold membership level.
