I just recently bought a BUCK 463 access model on ebay...and it dosen't have a year code on it:eek: . I know it is a year 2000 model because of the packaging. Anyone who knows buck knives, knows that they have been stamping their blades with a year code for quite a while. Is this a knife that "got through the cracks" or are some BUCK knives not stamped with a year code?

p.s. I have a BUCK 463 access model from 2002, and it has a year code on it...strange...

2000 model should have a square C, looks like a box with the right side missing,or a capital L with another line at the top of the L
if it is not there then it missed stamping.

that's right...I have the codes going back to 87...somewhere...is this a rare occurance or does it happen quite often?

p.s. is it worth alot of money on ebay then...wow,just joking I would never sell one of my beloved knives...my relatives will have to pry them out of my dead, cold hands
