Quick Question

Just found out my wife bought be a bucklock guitar series from AG Russell. I saw the box while cleaning today and couldn't resist. Anyway, can anyone gove me info on this knife? I am not really into safe queens, and for a 300 dollar knife, I could get a nice custom shop 110 and maybe something else too! Just not that familiar with the bucklock as a user. Any info would be great thanks!
 
The Guitar Series was introduced by Buck in the 2008 catalog, and, to the best of my knowledge, was made in three different models. The Gen-5 (Model 005) retailed at $420; the Akonua (402) at $370; and the Bucklock (532) at $315. The cheapest you would likely find these is approximately half this suggested retail; but since they came from A.G. Russell, I would guess they were pretty close to retail unless they were having a sale at the time. I would personally have a hard time making any of these a user, but they would all function well in that regard. And yes, you could indeed get a nice custom shop 110 for the price, but maybe she will get one of those for you for Christimas. :) Your wife sounds like a keeper!! :thumbup:

A *real* man (like Buckaholic) would say, "Hey you!!! Go buy me a bucklock guitar series from AG Russell!!! And get a 12-pack of beer for me too!!! And snap it up!!!"... ;)
