I'm thinking of getting a couple of Cold Steel Two Handed Katana Machetes. Any complaints on any of these?? And I seen on the forums not to long ago that some one on here cut there CS katana machete down about 6" in the handle. I wanted to know how it performed after you did this?? Did it mess up the balance or the cutting ability at all??

Has anyone else modified there CS Machetes?? What'd you do to it?? pics would be nice...
 
a friend of mine picked up the 2 handed khuk, and i was not impressed. the handle was plastic and held on with a couple of rivets, the knife was duller than a butter knife, and it was thin 1055. overall, i would go for an upgrade to a condor of something of the like if you want to use it as a machete. if this a wall piece, then go for it.
