Quick Reflexes Video

Mercy! Those are quick reflexes. What were we looking at?
 
It's a prisoner that did not get searched before being brought in for booking. Always search first. Some sort of video that was sent to my brother in law at work. He's in probation.

That was good reaction, looks like he controlled the guy's head and put him down while keeping himself out of the knifing zone. Good thing there was plenty of backup, they reacted quickly too. But yeah, you'd think such a large fixed blade would turn up in the most casual pat down.

I like how the guy goes "Ow" and seems to complain that the CO is bearing down on his neck. Um, you pulled a knife on him, remember?
 
looks like its in Britain...

and honestly did he think he was going to actually get anywhere even if he managed to take out the guard that was patting him down
 
I am a L.E.O. and we watched that video in roll call before a shift 2-3 weeks ago. It was in a Booking station in California. Somebody could have been killed, due to a poor pat search prior to entering custody. So when an officer needs to search a person or property for reasons that you may think are crazy, please think of this video because this is what is on our minds all day long.

Ken C, you may be right about Britain. I see sooo many of these videos, it's hard to keep them straight.

I wish MY reflexes were that quick, tricked again, curses. Maybe my name should be dulleddown!!:D

Good video. I thought the moron with the knife was very well treated afterward, considering what he tried to do.
