Quick release for keychain knives?

A company called berkelypoint has some ss clips that should work SS Clips.

You could put the clip on the knife and clip it to your key ring or put the clip on the key ring and clip it to the knife. I've done it both ways. I usually have a couple of extra clips on my key ring just because they are cool.

I use the Berkeley Point SS Clips aka McGizmo Micro and Nano clips too, in conjunction with the ones Never Too Sharp listed above. The SS clips are between $2.50 to $4 each though. I think I got my last two orders from Lighthound. I attach them to all my small EDC gear - small knives, flashlights, etc.

You should check with Eric at on scene tactical.
He makes very nice keyrigs for keychain knives, and multi tools.
I have one for my spyderco ladybug 3, and my leatherman squirt.
You just pop them out of the keyrig use it, then it clicks back in and holds the tool very secure.

Those are great. It's easy to detach one handed and in 5 years of use none of mine have accidentally released. I picked them up at Walmart. The one to detach my car keys gets used up to ten times a day. It's still solidly retains until I purposely detach it.

I've used the brass version of these for over 25 years with never a slip-up. About 10 years ago I picked up two of the silver ones, and while they require just a wee bit more care connecting than the brass, they too have never come undone accidentally, and right now I have five brass and two silver on my key chain. Most get put taken off and put on several times a day!

I use these (in silver), but they also come in black. Free shipping until 5/19, too.

Those clips are really good, they come with the Photon Freedom Micro lights and I use all the 'spares' for all sorts of applications. Very good service to the UK (and within the US next day delivery) from this store, which also runs the Photo Forum.
