So I'm getting a new job soon with a hefty paycheck that comes with it, and I decided to spoil myself to finally finish my Mossberg 590. Magpul just released some gorgeous furniture but it's for 870's only. Is it at all possible to put those parts on my 590? Can you mix and match those parts or am I just going to have to wait?

I can't recommend enough the Knoxx stocks. I have the Copstock on my 870 and it allows me to shoot slugs with ease and 00 one handed. And they make them for Mossys too.

Just might have to wait on them to produce the 590 furniture then! I heard good things about the Knoxx stocks, but meh, not a fan of the way they look. Getting tired of the plain M4 style stocks on my shotgun.

To hell with yar stocks! Wussies.

The Blackhawk Spec-Ops (Knoxx) recoil reducing stock is outstanding. I put one on my 18" Mossberg 500 along with a Hogue over molded forfend. Shot it at the range with a friend's near identical shotgun, except he had some other brand of adjustable stock that didn't have the recoil reduction feature.

We were shooting slugs, 3" magnum buck and 00 buck. My friend shot a couple of 00 out of his, then he tried the same loads out of mine; and then refused to shoot his any more. So, we finished off several boxes of each out of mine.

It is rather odd looking, especially if you prefer a traditional looking stock. I normally do, but with this particular weapon, I wanted functionality over aesthetics. No regrets, I love it!
