Quick reply box & forum links missing at the bottom of the page.

I shut them off as I'm doing testing. Server seems to be moving a bit faster since I did
 
For some reason, the post quick reply box doesn't exist for me anymore. Every thread looks closed to me except I can use the "reply to thread" button. What's going on?
 
At first, I thought I got banned or something and wasn't allowed to post:D:rolleyes:
Using the normal reply button feels wierd:eek:

Spark, are you planning on turning them back on, or is this permanent?
 
The quick reply box being gone sucks. Worse is the links. It makes it very cumbersome to navigate on my phone. Please turn the links back on, the 2 nano seconds of speed gained on the server is lost in all the extra moves needed to move back to the previous page on the site.

The bottom breadcrumbs are the last thing on my list of priorities. Right now my main focus is on reducing load times and database errors.

Whatever youre doing its sorta working.
Site is much faster here. I've had very minor hanging and only a couple DB errors, neither of which lasted very long....seconds, as compared to minutes/hours as before.
 
No change on this end in the past week, since implementation. That and half the time the text formatting toolbar doesn't come up.

I wish for a better solution?

It's been slow on my end, page takes a while to load and it seems to just keep tying to load.
 
I have experienced a few more problems over the past few days. The database errors persist and last about the same duration, but I have had several freezes (lasting 20-30 minutes) that occurred as I submitted posts.

Good luck, we appreciate what you are doing.

Have you tried the TapaTalk app? It keeps subscribed threads and forums nicely organized. The notifications can be handy too, especially when on the prowl for something on the exchange. The issue you have with the crumbs or links at the bottom of the page doesn't exist within the app.
 
Why is it that I do not have the quick reply box in any of the threads any more. Did I undo this feature or is it just gone.
The only thing I can do is click "reply to thread"

See replies above. It appears that they are trying to fix other ongoing issues and dumping some things is part of that.

Good luck with whatever you are doing spark, glad to know I did not fudge things up and its not a virus or something lol.

I have not tried the app yet, I thought it cost money? Its just the crumbs anyway, not important. One way or another, with time, we adapt to change.
