I really like flippers, so when Benchmade came out with the 300SN, I was obviously interested. I spent some time looking at it online and even put it in my virtual shopping basket at one vendor's site. Then this afternoon I decided to visit my local gun shop to see if they had anything new and interesting. As chance would have it, the gun shop is in the middle of a several-day vendor show, so there were representatives from all sorts of gun and knife manufacturers. I asked the Benchmade rep if they had any of the new 300SN flippers in and found out that they did have one. It had just arrived this morning. The price was right in line with most online vendors at $148.75, so after playing around with it and checking out all sorts of other knives, I bought it. In my opinion it's a great knife. It flips fairly well, not as well as some knives sporting bearings and a strong detent, but after a little practice it flips very well. In addition to being a flipper, it opens very nicely via the thumb studs or by simply releasing the spring tension on the axis lock. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and will enjoy it as a part of my EDC rotation.

Below is a short, and not overly-well done video I slapped together.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the Vid Shawn!

Great looking knife. Looks to be super smooth, and I really like the scales, and the low ride clip.

That's a great video review. I believe I'll be looking for one down the road and I'm not even that fond of flippers.
